AFTER WHAT HAPPENED IN FORT HOOD, SHOULD THE ARMY RECONSIDER IT'S POSITION ON WAIVERS?

I've heard it said "why should felons be allowed to serve". But the truth is that people make mistakes and anyone with a felony isn't automatically a bad person. The man who shot up fort hood probably never been arrested in his life. Those people in the service who killed innocent people and stood trial for it, along with the people who tortured the git-mo prisoners don't have felonies. My point is that people shouldn't be labeled when other people who are deemed "good" have turned out to be horrible. So If a person wants to change... let them in the military.
