Can anyone here tell me why do the "cartoons" these days suck so bad ?

I hate most of them honestly. Phineas and Ferb is pretty funny, but that's about all the cartoons I watch now. There isn't any creativity at all. I sit there watching episodes of spongebob thinking 'holy crap, I could make a better show then this!!!' They keep coming out with newer crap too, to try to keep people watching. One shitty plot line and dumb characters replaced by another. It's sickening.
